Demow unit of tea tribes' body formed

Bemow: Under the patronage of All Tea Tribes Students' Association (ATTSA), Demow branch, a meeting was organized in Demow Athabari Tea Labourers' Kalyan Kendra on Thursday where Tea Tribes Sahitya Sabha, Demow Regional Committee was formed.

Gauranga Chaura, retired headmaster, presided over the meeting. Biswanath Nag, secretary of ATTSA, Demow Branch, spoke the aims of the meeting. In the meeting, Biswanath Nag was selected as president and Aditi Tanti as secretary of the 31-member Tea Tribes Sahitya Sabha, Demow Regional Committee.
