Demow Xahitya Xabha felicitates four personalities

DEMOW: On the first day of Bohag, the Axam Xahitya Xabha organized the 'Nijar Din', which the Demow Xahitya Xabha also organized it. Four dignitaries who have been working for the development of language, literature, education and society were felicitated.

The four dignitaries were Roma Kalita, a senior citizen of Gajali, Padma Lahon Chetia, retired teacher as well as cultural worker, Ghana Kanta Gogoi, retired Principal, and Prafulla Sensua Barua, a senior citizen of Demow Dehingia Gaon. The four dignitaries were felicitated with a phulam gamosa, a citation and a cheleng.

In the programme, Bhim Dehingia, president of Demow Xahitya Xabha, Arun Sarma, vice-president of Demow Xahitya Xabha, and other dignitaries and members of Demow Xahitya Xabha were present.
