MANGALDAI: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Assam Police, Central Western Range, Brajenjit Singha, accompanied by Darrang Superintendent of Police, Amrit Bhuyan on Saturday evening visited Tangnijar village under Dhula Police Station in Darrang district following few incidents of vandalizing and looting of temples of the area during the wee hours of Saturday.

The senior police officials assured the local public to conduct inquiry and book the culprits within a short time.
