Development Committee Meeting Held in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: The Development Committee meeting of the district for the ongoing month was held on Friday at the DC office under the presidentship of DC, Pallav Gopal Jha. In the Development Committee meeting, an update was taken on the progress of various ongoing works under different departments, and the departments were ordered to execute work under different government schemes within the stipulated time. Moreover, UNICEF launched two posters - on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and menstrual hygiene – during the meeting. A publication named ‘Mukta Akash’, published under the aegis of district administration and UNICEF, was also inaugurated during the meeting. The publication covered various topics, including child-related issues, child rights, hygiene and environmental hygiene. District Development Commissioner Sanjay Dutta, ADC Dr. M.S. Lakshmipriya, Divisional WASH Consultant of UNICEF, Shetangana Bhuyan and office-bearers of different government departments were present at the meeting.
