Developmental schemes launched under Dakhin Nagsankar GP of Sootea LAC

JAMUGURIHAT: Three new developmental schemes were launched at Gogoi Chowk, Lakhangarh and Samar Dalani under Dakhin Nagsankar GP of Sootea LAC recently.

Pankaj Sarma, Block Development Officer of Sootea Development Block, inaugurated the NRLM project in presence of panchayat representatives and general people. Bijoya Gogoi, a resident of Gogoi Chowk, was shortlisted for the NRLM scheme of the Government of Assam for a fishery project. Addressing the gathering, BDO Sarma spoke about various schemes launched by the State Government for women empowerment.

Parbati Sarma, president of Dakhin Nagsankar GP, inaugurated a new market site built under MGNREGA scheme at Lakhangarh centre recently. Similarly, Parbati Sarma, panchayat president of Dakhin Nagsankar GP, inaugurated the scheme of boundary wall construction at Devi Than and a source of unending water flow located at Samar Dalani under Assam Darshan scheme.
