DHUBRI: The Dhubri District Task Force meeting on Intensive Mission Indradhanush Programme (IMI) 2.0 was held at the DC conference hall and was chaired by Dhubri Additional Deputy Commissioner, A Bharali on Friday.
Dhubri Additional Chief Medical and Health Officer (FW), Dr M Rahman welcomed all the participants in the meeting which was followed by Dhubri Joint Director of Health Services, Dr SM Emdadulla explaining the aims and objectives of the meeting.
Dhubri district Immunization Officer, Dr Joydip Bhattacharya gave out a power-point presentation on IMI 2.0 and explained the various nitty grities for conducting IMI 2.0 in the district.
While explaining the current scenario emerging out of the last three rounds, Dr Bhattacharya said that district performed 98 to 100 per cent with respect to coverage of 0 – 2 years beneficiaries, pregnant women and session held with respect to the session planned. The presentation emphasized on selecting the right beneficiaries, area, drop outs and missed out children
Dr Bhattacharya also showed a slide on non-immunising reasons as vaccine hesitancy.
The discussion was opened by chairman of the meeting and a session of question-answers followed. Surveillance Medical officer, NPSP of Bongaigaon, Dr H Gogoi showed feedback from the last three rounds of IMI 2.0 and critically assessed gaps. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair.
