Dibrugarh DC Pallav Gopal Jha Holds Discussion with Health Officers

Dibrugarh: DC, Pallav Gopal Jha visited the Primary Health Centre under Lahoal block on Friday and held discussions with the health officers and workers as well as representatives of the Panchayat under the health block. In the meeting, Jha examined the maternal mortality rate, infant mortality rate and family planning methods under the health block, as well as various other dimensions for good health. He urged the Health Department to pay more attention towards reduction of incidents of the death of mothers and children of the tea estates under the health block. His discussions with the panchayat representatives revolved around the role they would have to play at the time of implementation of the various government schemes in the Gaon Panchayat region.
