Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Vikram Kairi flagged off mobile vans for EVM awareness

DIBRUGARH: The Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Vikram Kairi on Friday flagged off the 6 vans for six assembly constituencies to create awareness among the voters. The District Commissioner also inaugurated an EVM demonstration centre set up in the premises of the District Commissioner’s office.

District Election Officer Pranjil Gogoi, Divisional Forest Officer BV Sandeep and other officers and employees of the District Commissioner’s office were present on the occasion. The office of circle officer of Dibrugarh East Revenue Circle in Dibrugarh district, circle officer’s office of Dibrugarh West revenue circle, circle officer’s office of Moran revenue circle, circle officer’s office at Tingkhong revenue circle, office of circle officer of Tengakhat revenue circle and circle officer’s office of Naharkatia revenue circle have been set up.

After visiting this EVM demonstration centre, the voters will be able to know about EVMs properly and how to vote in EVMs.
