Dibrugarh MLA Prasanta Phukan Donates Rs 10 lakh to CM’s Fund

Dibrugarh: Dibrugarh MLA Prasanta Phukan has donated Rs 10 lakh to the State Government from his MLA constituency development fund to fight against the dreaded coronavirus. Moreover, Phukan also donated Rs 1 lakh from his personal account to the Chief Minister’s Arogya Nidhi fund for helping poor and helpless people of the society.

MLA Phukan called upon the people not to panic and to maintain social distancing, the only way to prevent the disease from wide spread. MLA Phukan appealed to all to adhere to the guidelines of lockdown strictly and help the government in its fight against COVID-19.
