DIBRUGARH: Dibrugarh Municipality Board (DMB) chairman Dr Saikat Patra on Friday inaugurated Panchkarma service at Dibrugarh State Dispensary. On the ocassion of 8th Ayurveda Day, the Panchkarma service was launched. Panchakarma is an Ayurvedic therapy that involves Pancha (five) karmas (actions) that helps in cleansing the body of accumulated toxins with an aim to restore health.
“Panchakarma treatment is unique in the sense that it includes preventive, curative and promotive actions for various diseases. We have opened the service for the help of the people those who have pain related diseases like knee pain, back pain, head pain etc. With minimum price we will treat the patients in our centre,” said Dr Sailesh Pujari.
He said, “Most of the senior citizens have pain-related diseases and they cannot walk freely due to knee pain. We will give treatment to them in Ayurvedic way which will give them enough relief from pain-related diseases.”
