Digboi College Student Receives National NSS Volunteer Award

TINSUKIA/DIGBOI: Jyotishman Moran, an active NSS volunteer of Digboi College for the session 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-2018, has brought laurels to Assam and particularly NSS Digboi College Unit under Dibrugarh University after he was conferred with the National NSS Volunteer Award 2017-18 at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on September 24 by the President of India. An outstanding student volunteer of NSS, Jyotisman organized several programs on gender sensitization and International Women’s Day and undertook a socio-economic survey at a model village at Saraipung Forest Village and devoted his time towards educating the school children during college vacation.
