Digboi MLA Suren Phukan Reaches out to the poor and needy

DIGBOI: Digboi MLA Suren Phukan reached out to around 200 BPL families here at Borbil village on Sunday and distributed few essential edible items of daily use.

Phukan, while urging people to remain safe at home during the lockdown period, said that it was his personal effort and he would also extend similar aid to around 400 needy people of Golai area under his constituency on Monday morning. “I was also assisted by local businessmen of the historic oil town in distributing the basic items,” said the MLA.
