Dikhowmukh college in Sivasagar district all set for NAAC peer team visit

GAURISAGAR: Dikhowmukh college is one of the premier higher educational institute in greater Dikhowmukh area on the outskirts of Gaurisagar in Sivasagar district. It was established in 1982 at the bank of historic Moglow pukhuri under the dynamic leadership of founder principal Horen Bhuyan. The college has been ushering in promotion of higher education since its establishment.

A peer team of National Assessment of Accreditation Council (NAAC) will visit the college for the 2nd time on January 24 and 25 with a two day-long programme. In this connection, the college authority convened a public meeting recently under the chairmanship of former college principal Moniram Saikia.

Dr. Ranjit Kumar Baruah, principal of the college explained the objective and sought public cooperation and presence during the NAAC Peer team visit. The NAAC Peer team will exchange views with local people and well wishers. The college authority is all set to welcome the peer team of NAAC. A good number of cultural programmes will be demonstrated.
