HAFLONG: The two-day live programme of 'Hills Got Talent' that was inaugurated by Dima Hasao Deputy Commissioner Paul Barua inaugurated at District Library Auditorium on Saturday concluded on Sunday.
Aiming to promote and encourage the talents of the youths and to give them a platform, the 'Hills Got Talent' has been organized by the Venture Films Production a newly formed film producing organization of Haflong.
The event started with the lighting of lamp followed by felicitation of chief guest Paul Barua, guests of honourAnupBiswas, judges of the programme Niranjan Bathari, Anuj Kemprai and Rathi Jidung .
DC Barua appreciating the organizers said that there is no derth of talent in youths ofDima Hasao and hoped that one day these youths can get opportunities to showcase their talent in other parts of the country. He wished all the participants to be successful in the competition.
DC also released a Dimasa music video Oye Majangdi produced by Rathi Judung a popular choreographer.
The Hills Got Talent was organized online during the lockdown and receive a good response. At least 22 participants performed in the competition.
Earlier Swadeep Hasamsa, Chairman, Venture Film Production explained the aims and objective while welcoming the guests, judges and participants.
