Dima Hasao records 88.12% pass percentage

HAFLONG: Dima Hasao has recorded 88.12% pass percentage compared to 81.31% in 2022, though in the previous year Dima Hasao stood 2nd in the State. This year a total of 3,216 candidates appeared. 1095 secured 1st division, 1427 second division, and 312 3rd division. Total 2834 students passed in the examination.

Most of the students were found jubilant at their success along with their teachers. The principal of Haflong Boys’ HS school said they have successfully maintained the upgoing tradition in results and this year this has reached a record pass percentage. He while congratulating the students appreciated the efforts of the teachers who played a pivotal role in such success.

Chief Executive Member, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council Debolal Gorlosa said, Dima Hasao’s HSLC results were placed in the second position in the state last year with a passing percentage of 81.31%.
