HAFLONG: The Dimasa Mothers' Association is extremely saddened at the unfortunate incident which took place on August 26 at Diyungbra where 5 innocent people were killed by the militant organisation.

The Dimasa Mothers' Association in a press meet held at its office on Monday extended heartfelt condolence to those who lost their lives and offered prayers to the bereaved families. The press meet was attended by Dr Lina Hakmosa, Maipal Kemprai, Purabi Phonglo and Salbita Naiding.

The Dimasa Mothers' Association which contributed a lot during the previous days of crisis strongly condemned such heinous and cowardice act of the militant group as they no longer would tolerate violence in the district as it hinders peace and development.

Expressing concern over the prevailing situation all the members on behalf of DMA requested all the people not to communalize the incident since the militants have no colour, creed and religion rather would create distrust among the brothers and sisters who have been living in peace and brotherhood since time immemorial.

The association also requested the district administration to sort out the problems by finding out the miscreants and punish them and restore peace in the district.
