Director of Social Welfare holds review meeting of various schemes

TEZPUR: Director of Social Welfare, Bivash Modi, on Tuesday reviewed the implementation of various schemes in the district under the Social Welfare department.

Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das, ADC (SW) Dyotiva Bora, Deputy Director, Social Welfare, Santanu Bhagabati, DPO-cum-i/c DSWO Sangita Borthakur, CDPOs, Supervisors, and other officials of the social welfare department were present in the meeting.

The Director reviewed the implementation of schemes such as PMMVY, Poshan Abhiyan, One-Stop Centre, among others and also took stock of the implementation of SNP, THR, HCM under ICDS project and directed all officials for proper monitoring of all schemes at the grassroots level by increasing field visits, early resolution of problems, asking all to work as a team and maintaining coordination with various line departments. He also directed the supervisors to finish MPR, RRS reporting within July 5 and to complete the recruitment of staff for Mahila Shakti Kendra as soon as possible.
