Dispute leads to death of two brothers in Barpeta district

BARPETA: Two brothers died following a dispute at Kharadhara village under Barpeta police station in Barpeta district on Wednesday night.

There was a conflict between the two sons of Abdul Latif- Atab Ali (38) and Shaiful Islam- regarding the boundary of a PMAY house. Shaiful was involved in the fish business in Guwahati. Atab Ali called Shaiful Islam regarding the boundary of the PMAY house. When Shaiful came, Atab allegedly stabbed him to death. The family members tried to protect Shaiful they could not and they allegedly attacked Atab Ali. On the way to Fakharuddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH), he died.
