MORIGAON: Along with other district committees, the employees of Morigaon district administration staged a two-day non-cooperation programme from Friday to demand fulfillment of their 10-point charter of demands, in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office. The organization, led by Dharmajyoti Saikia, has demanded the government to re-implement the old pension scheme and nullify the new pension scheme, to release dearness allowance, to provide grade pay to the third grade service holders, to create posts of superintendent, Head Assistant and Accountant, and to prepare the service record of copyists, among others. The organization staged the non-cooperation for one hour in front of the DC's office. The organization warned that if the demands were not fulfilled soon, the employees would stay away from election duty also.
