District Agriculture, Nagaon organized a programme on millets held

NAGAON: District Agriculture, Nagaon on Saturday organized a special programme on “Farmers for Millets in Assam” at Jamuguri gram panchayat office under Dolonghat block in the district as part of the Assam Millet Mission to commemorate the International Year of Millets.

The programme was initiated by Ratul Boruah, SGB, Nomati village in the presence of Kaustav Kumar Bora, president, Jamuguri Kujidah GP, Amiyo Kumar Sinha, DAIO cum DMNO, Nagaon, Dr Binod Kalita, scientist, ZRS AAU, Gulap Saikia, ADO, Chakalaghat, Aftab Uddin Ahmed. Over 78 farmers and others from across the gram panchayat participated in the programme.
