District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting held in Goalpara

GOALPARA: A meeting of DISHA (District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee ) was held on Saturday at the DC’s conference hall, Goalpara. Chairman of DISHA and Lok Sabha MP from Dhubri HPC, Badaruddin Ajmal presided over the meeting in presence of Khanindra Choudhury, District Commissioner. Discussions on implementation of several state and union government schemes, their progress and obstacles were held.

Necessary suggestions were given to the concerned departments based on their progress and performance.

MLAs AK Rashid Alom, Aftabuddin Mollah, Abdur Rashid Mondal and Jadab Swargiary, chairpersons from municipal board and Zilla parishad, officers from line departments were present at the meeting.

DC Khanindra Choudhury instructed the officers to follow the suggestions and directions given by the district members of DISHA in order to ensure successful implementations of the schemes.
