District-level workshop on good governance held in Nagaon

NAGAON: As part of ongoing 'Good Governance Week' across the country, a district-level workshop on 'Sushasan Saptah - Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur' was held here at the Nagaon DC's conference hall on Friday.

Former Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon, Shamsher Singh was present in the workshop as the chief guest. Almost all additional deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, all the heads of the departments of the district and the chief executive officer, Nagaon Zila Parishad participated in the workshop.

Arup Kumar Sarma, chief executive officer, Nagaon Zila Parishad delivered the welcome address. During the programme, all the departments' heads elaborated in details about the initiative for good governance across the district so that the people in general could avail the facilities of the government.
