District-level Yuva Utsav organized in BN College, Dhubri

DHUBRI: In an effort to provide a platform to the fraternity of young artists, writers, photographers and orators under the mentorship of experts, the Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Dhubri, in collaboration with B N College, organized a district-level Yuva Utsav in the college auditorium on Thursday. Events such as poem writing contest, painting contest, mobile photography contest, declamation contest, cultural Group Event, and a 'Yuva Samvaad' were held.

Nearly 200 youths between the age group of 15-29 years attended the programme. ADC Manash Kumar Saikia, chairman of Dhubri Municipal Board, Dr Debamoy Sanyal, State Director of NYKS, Assam, Sayed Ali, Principal of BN College, Dr Dhrub Chakrabortty attended the programme and interacted with the participants during the inaugural session. Certificates along with prizes were given away to the winners of all the competitive events. The winners will participate in the State-level Yuva Utsav to be held in Guwahati soon.
