District Magistrate, Dibrugarh district issues order to cancelled public meetings, theatre

Dibrugarh: Based on an office memorandum of the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, the Additional District Magistrate of Dibrugarh district, by an order issued on Tuesday, has cancelled all public meetings, procession and staging of theatre for which permission had been granted earlier by the district administration, with immediate effect. Accordingly, Kohinoor Theatre’s show slated to be held at Government High School Field from March 14 to March 16 , Akhanda Bhagawat recitation at 2 no. Bharali village from March 8 to March 12, workshop on Bihu dance and Bihu naam at Railway loco field from April 3 to April 5 and Shitala Puja, organized by Sri Sri Sarbajanin Shitala Puja Committee from March 28 to March 29 has been suspended till further order.
