District Magistrate Gautam Talukdar issues order for closure of liquor bars

Kokrajhar/Bongaigaon: As per the direction given by the Home and Political department, and Health and Family Welfare department, Government of Assam, the District Magistrate, Chirang Gautam Talukdar has promulgated an order for closure of all liquor bars (country liquor), nightclubs, beauty parlours, saloon (unisex), museums, libraries, coaching centres and establishments of similar nature as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19 in the district of Chirang. This order has come into force with immediate effect and will remain in force until further order.
