District Magistrate of Tinsukia ordered night curfew in entire district

TINSUKIA: The District Magistrate of Tinsukia by an order promulgated night curfew (total prohibition of movement of persons) in entire district to contain the spread of COVID-19 between 9.30 pm to 5 am and also imposed total lockdown in all municipal and town committee areas of Tinsukia district on all Saturdays and Sundays. The order will come into force w.e.f from 5 am of August 16 and will remain valid till 9.30 pm of August 31. All permitted activities shall continue to be allowed between 5 am to 9 pm on Monday to Friday, besides inter-district movement of passenger vehicles with 50 per cent capacity.
