District Tuberculosis centre organises media sensitization programme in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: A virtual state level media workshop on health communication under National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) in collaboration with Guwahati Press Club was held at district TB control Cell in Kokrajhar on Monday. Over 30 mediapersons from different media houses based in Kokrajhar participated the virtual media workshop and a sensitization programme was organized by District TB Control Center, Kokrajhar.

The programme focused on the elimination of Tuberculosis and other comorbidity diseases to help mediapersons to improve reporting on the issues relating to the TB and other diseases.

A sensitization on Tobacco was also done by district Nodal Officer, Tobacco Control Cell, Kokrajhar. Dr. Kaushik Das, District TB Officer, Kokrajhar gave away the 'Certificate of Participation' to the participating mediapersons in the event.
