Doctor tests COVID-19 positive at Biswanath Subdivisional Civil Hospital

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Dr Nripen Shaikia, a physician at Biswanath Subdivisional Civil Hospital, tested positive for COVID-19. He had gone for rapid antigen test. An eight-year child from Kalabari, Gohpur who had come into his contact also tested positive. During the last 24 hours, three policemen and the son of a policeman have tested positive in Biswanath. They have been identified as Constable Bikash Kutum of Biswanath Chariali Police Station, Vijay Das and Roopam Pal of the office of the Biswanath District Superintendent of Police.
