Domestic Pipe Natural Gas project inaugurated at APL township

NAMRUP: The Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited, a Government of Assam undertaking, held an inaugural ceremony of Domestic Pipe Natural Gas (PNG) Project in association with Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL) at APL township on Wednesday.

Bikul Chandra Deka , chairman of APL, inaugurated the project by lighting of the lamp in the presence of Atul Chandra Barman, MD APL, and other top officials. Bikul Ch. Deka said that by implementing this project, around 350 families residing in APL township could avail the benefits of Domestic PNG. Deka also added that APL's 500 TPD Methanol and 200 TPD Formalin projects would pave a new era of economic prosperity in the industrial sector of Assam and with the association of OIL and AGCL, APL would explore new opportunities and be able to shoulder more responsibilities in the ensuing future.
