Don Bosco College, Golaghat organized Webinar on research & education

GOLAGHAT: IQAC of Don Bosco College, Golaghat, in collaboration with Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous), Kerala, organized a two-day webinar under Paramarsh Scheme on 'Research and Education: During and After COVID-19'. Over 820 participants registered for the webinar. Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous) is the mentor college for Don Bosco College, Golaghat under Paramarsh Scheme.

Around 820 participants, including principals, academicians, research scholars and students, joined the webinar from 24 States of India and the college also witnessed international participation.

The resource persons of the webinar were profound academicians of very reputed institutions who shared their knowledge on 'Ethical Issues in Research and Avoidance of Plagiarism' by Dr. Utpal Das from Dibrugarh University, 'The Role of Students During COVID-19' by Prof Harry Cleetus of Kerala, 'Outcome Based Education' by Dr. Binu Thomas from Marian College Kuttikanam, and 'Self Learning Material (SLM) and Developing Digital Classroom' by Dr. Anil Ch. Borah, Regional Director, IGNOU Jorhat.

The participants joined the webinar through Zoom Meeting and YouTube live streaming and were delighted with the various presentations. The college is looking forward to organizing department wise webinars on different topics in coming days, which will be notified on the college website in due course of time. The participants were very appreciative of the input sessions and interactions.
