Doomdooma Ellora Vigyan Manch Protest against open-cast mining at Gandhi Chowk

A CORRESPONDENT

DOOMDOOMA: Ellora Vigyan Manch, Doomdooma branch, in response to a call by its State committee, staged protest at Gandhi Chowk of the town on Monday in support of its three-point charter of demands - to stop open cast mining near Dehing-Patkai rain forest, to stop destruction of bio-diversity in rainforest zone and to withdraw permission given for open cast mining.
