Doomdooma MLA stages four hours sit-in near Rupai TE

DOOMDOOMA: Doomdooma MLA Durga Bhumij resorted to four hours sit-in near Rupai TE. Dolong Line on Wednesday to demand solution to various burning problems of Doomdooma legislative assembly constituency. The chief among them are - repair of the concrete bridge near Rupai TE on the Doomdooma - Baghjan - Digulturrang road, a part of which was badly damaged in last flash flood, thus snapping the communication considered to be lifeline of the entire area. Second, the repair of another concrete bridge near Bordubi TE popularly known as 'Tin Dolong'. Third, extinguishing the Baghjan fire Baghjan fire and payment of adequate compensation to the affected people of the adjacent villages. Fourth, to establish a high school at Rupai TE under the State Government scheme to establish 100 high schools in the tea gardens.
