Doomdooma Sakha Xahitya Xabha demands stern action against Siladitya Dev

DOOMDOOMA: Doomdooma Sakha Xahitya Xabha (DSXX) has strongly condemned the statement of BJP MLA of Hojai constituency, Siladitya Dev in terming Sahitya Akademi award-winning eminent Assamese litterateur, Sahityacharyya, Padma Vibhushan, a former Rajya Sabha MP and a former president of Axam Xahitya Xabha, Sayed Abdul Malik as 'intellectual jehadi'.

In a statement issued to the press on Monday by Bimala Baruah and Deben Deka, president and secretary respectively, DSXX, while strongly condemning the 'irresponsible' comments of a public representative like Siladitya Dev, they demanded the State Government to take stern action against him.
