Door-to-door Community health check-up begins in Demow

DEMOW: Under Demow Block Primary Health Centre, the door-to-door community health check-up started from Wednesday in Demow and its surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, heath check-up was done in Demow Town, Konwarpur, Desangmukh, Palengi, Dehingmukh, Nitaipukhuri, Bamrajabari and Athabari. According to health officials, 25 teams have been formed under Demow Block Primary Health Centre and in each team there is a doctor, a MPW worker, an ANM and ASHA worker.

Under Demow Block Primary Health Centre, there are 270 villages. The medical check-up was done under the supervision of Dr.S Ullah, SDM&HO of Demow Block Primary Health Centre, and Dr Mukul Das, Additional Chief Medical Officer of Sivasagar, on Wednesday. The community health check-up will continue till June 6.
