Dr Bhupen Hazarika National Award conferred to Amrit Rajkhowa

TINSUKIA: Renowned writer, singer, novelist and teacher Amrit Rajkhowa of Dimoruguri village in Tinsukia district's Chabua constituency was conferred on Dr Bhupen Hazarika National Award 2022 for his outstanding contribution in an impressive programme at Jyoti Chitraban Cultural Auditorium Guwahati held under the aegis of NE Big Cultural Society recently. A post graduate in Assamese from Dibrugarh University and teacher of Borguri HS School, Rajkhowa authored books on songs, poetry, collections of articles including children literature. The literary circles of Tinsukia district had congratulated Rajkhowa for bringing the prestigious award to the district.
