Dr Mihir Kr Goswami assumed new Principal of Nagaon Medical College and Hospital (NMCH)

NAGAON: Noted senior physician, writer of several medical science books, Dr Mihir Kr Goswami assumed the office of the principal of Nagaon Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) on Wednesday here.

He has been appointed as the permanent principal of Nagaon Medical College Hospital by the Health Department, Government of Assam. In absence of the incumbent principal of the college and hospital, Dr Silpi Rani Barman, Dr Goswami took charge of office from the in-charge principal of the college and hospital.

Earlier, Dr Goswami rendered his services in Dibrugarh as well as Jorhat Medical College and Hospital and thereafter he was appointed as the Head of Medicine in Nagaon Medical College and Hospital here.
