Draft list of polling stations in respect of Legislative Assembly Constituencies under Lakhimpur published

LAKHIMPUR: The draft list of polling stations in respect of the newly-delimited Legislative Assembly Constituencies (LACs) under Lakhimpur Election District have already been prepared and published. The copy of the draft list is available for the public view at the office of District Election Officer (DEO) along with all designated locations during office hours, a notification issued by the DEO said.

According to the same notification, people can submit any claims or objections for the change of polling stations, sections etc. or other particulars in any entry, on or before October 26 in appropriate petition to the Election Officer, Lakhimpur. In this regard, Lakhimpur district administration has sought due cooperation from the people under the newly-delimited LACs.
