Draft Photo Electoral Rolls published in Lakhimpur district

LAKHIMPUR: As per the order of the Election Commission of India, the Draft Photo Electoral Rolls for the 3 LACs under North Lakhimpur Election District, Lakhimpur, Naoboicha and Bihpuria, were published on Wednesday with regard to January 1, 2023 as the qualifying date.

In this regard, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office with the political parties under the management of Election Officer Mustafa Salim Ahmed. It was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Sumit Sattawan. In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the programme in details after announcing the publication of the Draft Photo Electoral Rolls.

In case of objections, inclusion, correction and deletion or any other issues in the Draft Electoral Rolls, the public can fill out the specific form and submit it to the District Election Officer or the officer posted at the concerned polling station between November 9 and December 8. The claims and objections will be disposed of by December 26. The Final Photo Electoral Rolls will be published on January 5 of the next year.
