Drug peddler arrested in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: On the basis of secret information, a police team from Doomdooma PS intercepted one Pulser-220 bike (AS 23 X - 4090) and apprehended the rider, Bikash Sonowal of Rupai Siding Santipur locality under Doomdooma PS near the Circle Office of Doomdooma Revenue Circle at Rupai Siding along the NH - 37 around 9 pm on Tuesday night. During the search in presence of Circle Officer and neutral witness, 2 gram suspected heroin was found in his possession. A case has been registered at Doomdooma PS in this connection.
