Drug racket busted, heroin seized by Dibrugarh Police

DIBRUGARH: Dibrugarh Police busted a drug racket and recovered 300 grams suspected heroin.

Following tip-off, the police team headed by Officer in-charge of Dibrugarh Police Station, Rajib Saikia and T.S.I Monoranjon Saikia raided the residence of 42-year old Younus Khan at Loharpatty. During the search operation, the team recovered the heroine from his possession. Police arrested Khan and seized the heroine.

According to Superintendent of Police, Sreejith T, the approximate international value of the recovered heroine is Rs 30 lakh. Police registered a case under NDPS Act. Investigation is on.
