Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu and Principal Secretary visit Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu along with Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav visited the Lakshminath Bezbaruah Shishu Bhawan Primary School located at the heart of Sivasagar on the occasion of first phase of Gunotsav on Thursday.
Dr Pegu visited the digital rooms and classrooms of the school to discuss Gunotsav with the students and appreciated the enthusiasm and cooperation of the students.
Dr Pegu expressed satisfaction over seeing the classrooms as well as the midday meal kitchen and conveyed his heartiest congratulations to the teachers and management committee, mother's group and parents for the further progress of the school.
On the other hand, Manish Thakur, Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department visited No. 444 Alikekuri Primary School as external evaluator on the occasion of Gunotsav.
He took part in the programme to observe whether the examinations were conducted smoothly and had an intimate conversation with the students. He also took stock of the various problems of the school and arranged a day-long tour to introduce the students to various technical issues of ONGC to increase their interest in science education. He said that the school can compete with international level schools.
