Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated in Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle areas

DHEKIAJULI: Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated amidst rising COVID cases and in partial lockdown in different parts of Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle areas on Friday. No community namaz was held in any Eidgah situated in Dhekiajuli Circle. Feasting with family members and friends was done by maintaining strict COVID protocol imposed by the district administration in Dhekiajuli, Thelamara, Rakhyasmari, Noorpur, Sirajuli and other parts of Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle areas.

Due to the odd-even car number rule which was imposed on May 13 by the State Government affected the movement of vehicles. COVID positive cases continue to rise in Dhekiajuli.

DEMOW: Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in Demow and in surrounding areas on Friday in a low-key manner by following COVID protocol. People offered namaz in their homes and no community namaz was offered.
