BAKSA: Observer for the Mushalpur and Salbari Election District, Bhupesh Ch. Das held a meeting with the candidates and representatives of political parties of Mushalpur subdivision in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office, Mushalpur.
It was decided in consensus with parties that number of tables for counting of votes would be increased from stipulated number of seven up to 10. The Observer sought co-operation from candidates for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the poll. Apart from this, he also asked candidates to follow the code of conduct strictly and to maintain COVID protocol. He also asked candidates to maintain the expenditure ceiling of Rs 7 lakh.
The Observer appealed to political parties to urge voters to casts their votes before 4 pm. The Deputy Commissioner of Baksa, Ranjan Sarma also sought cooperation from all parties to set an example of peaceful and hassle free conduct of election.
