EM Reo Reoa Narzihary emphasizes job opportunities in BTR

KOKRAJHAR: A meeting of the Industries and Commerce was held in the conference hall of BTC Secretariat on Saturday with EM Reo Reoa Narzihary in the chair to discuss the issues of unemployment problems and job opportunities under the department of Industries and Commerce.

In the meeting, the Council Head of the Department (CHD), all officers of Industries and Commerce department of BTR were present. In his speech, the EM of Industries and Commerce Reo Reoa Narzihary said that industrial development was the need of the hour in BTR to resolve unemployment problem and substantially for growing economy of the people of the area.

The CHD of the department explained the policy of industry and potentiality identified by the BTR. The departmental officers were also presented power point on bamboo industry. In collaboration with Bodoland University the projects are already going on. Some of the projects identified for investment in BTR includes handicrafts, bamboo plantation and bamboo industry, sericulture, handloom & textile industry, dairy products, milk processing industries, tea processing industry, bee farming, construction of material industry, mushroom cultivation & processing, rubber plantation and processing industries.
