Exam topper Asmita Kakoti of Borgang Tea Estate felicitated by Biswanath district administration

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Asmita Kakoti of Borgang Tea Estate of Biswanath district, who has topped this year's Class XII examination (Humanities) of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), was felicitated by the district administration of Biswanath on Thursday.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Surya Kamal Borah and Assistant Commissioner Dr Bhupali Kashyap paid a visit to Asmita's residence and felicitated her with a xarai and phulan gamosa. Wishing Asmita a bright future ahead, both Dr. Borah and Dr Kashyap expressed confidence that Asmita's hard work and dedication towards studies would help her contribute immensely for the society and the country in the coming days.

Asmita has topped the examination with 99.75 per cent mark and is a student of Assam Valley School, Balipara. Her extraordinary feat has not only brought laurels to the State but also to Biswanath district. She is the daughter of Jyotirmoi Kakoti and Nobonita Kakoti.
