Expenditure Observer V. Ramanadha Reddy for 33- Bijni holds meeting with officials

BONGAIGAON: V. Ramanadha Reddy, IRS, Expenditure Observer for 33- Bijni Legislative Assembly constituency, held a meeting with the Subdivisional Officer (Civil)-cum-District Election Officer, Bijni, Subdivisional Police Officer, Bijni and the officials engaged in various teams, namely Video Surveillance Teams, Flying Squads, Static Surveillance Teams and Video Viewing Teams, in the conference hall of the office of the Civil Subdivisional Officer, Bijni on March 13.

During the meeting, District Election Officer Dhuba Das informed the Expenditure Observer of the steps so far being taken by them right from election preparation, monitoring the expenditure of political parties and model code of conduct through regular checking, setting up of nakas at strategic locations, including the SVEEP activities for encouraging people to participate in voting without any hesitation. Expenditure Observer Reddy briefed about various aspects regarding election expenditure and its monitoring process as per guidelines of the ECI. He also took assessment of the performance of various cells and ordered the cell in-charge to closely monitor the doubtful movement of money, liquor and gift items round the clock.
