Farewell to Headmaster of Dholaguri ME School in Numaligarh

Numaligarh: The Headmaster of Dholaguri ME School, Aroop Kumar Duarah was given a farewell in the most unique and emotional way by the teachers, students and local people of the area

He had joined the school in 1985 and was elevated to the post of Headmaster. The farewell meeting was held in the school on Monday. The programme was moderated by Jiten Kumar Hazarika and attended by the Principal of Titabor Mihiram Saikia HS School, Wajidur Rahman, organizing secretary of AASU central committee, Raju Phukon, writer Biren Chandra Gogoi, poet Rakhi Dutta Saikia, and Morangi Press club Secretary Priyangdeep Kakoti, among others. Aroop Kumar Duarah was felicitated by various social organizations and his admirers with gamusa, japi, and other gift items. A book launch ceremony was also held in the programme. The book is a compilation of writings by many people and admirers of Aroop Kumar Duarah. The book has been edited by writer Arnab Saikia and Pranjal Das. During their speeches, all guests acknowledged and lauded the dedication and sense of duty of Aroop Kumar Duarah as a teacher.
