Fertilizer licenses of three outlets canceled at Nagaon Doomdoomia Natun Bazaar

NAGAON: Based on secret inputs, the squad of a special agriculture task force led by District Agriculture Officer Tarun Hazarika and ADO Dilip Bora conducted a raid on three subsidized fertilizer outlets at Nagaon Doomdoomia Natun Bazaar on Monday.

During the raid, the squad as well as other officials of Nagaon district agriculture department found grievous irregularities as well as other anomalies in the distribution of subsidized fertilizers being supplied to the farmers by the government.

The squad immediately seized all documents for further proceedings against those fertilizer outlets. Significantly, based on those irregularities and anomalies, district agriculture officer Tarun Hazarika cancelled their licenses with immediate effect, a release issued by the district agriculture department added.
