FHTC under Jal Jeevan Mission inaugurated in Chirang district

BONGAIGAON: The Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Chirang district was ceremonially inaugurated by Jayanta Basumatary, MLA of Sidli constituency, at Bilashpur Piped Water Supply Scheme (PWSS) on Saturday.

On the occasion, 31 FHTCs were ceremonially handed over to the beneficiaries under the scheme.

Conducting the programme, Rupeswar Brahma, Assistant Executive Engineer, Kokrajhar Subdivision No. II, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Chirang, briefed the gathering about the objectives of JJM and highlighted the details about Bilashpur PWSS, including its implementation plan in the district.

The programme was attended by other district officials of PHE department, beneficiaries and contractors.
