Fifteen-day Bihu workshop concludes in Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: A fifteen-day workshop on Bihu dance and Dhol badan organized by 51st Rangachakuwa Bohagi Mela concluded on Monday. The workshop began on April 3. The concluding session was presided over by Dwijen Das, a retired transport officer and a resident of Rangachakuwa. More than 50 youths from the greater Rangachakuwa, on the northern part of Jamugurihat area participated in the workshop. Seven Bihu dancers and two drummers who participated in the record making Bihu performance held at Saru Sajai stadium from this area were accorded a warm felicitation by the organizers. The participants were awarded with a certificate of participation at the end of the session.
